Counselling & Psychotherapy in Croydon & Central London

Welcome to my website.

My name is Fiona Millican. I am a counsellor and psychotherapist based in Croydon and Central London. I offer both short and long-term counselling and psychotherapy, in a safe and supportive environment, to individuals and to couples.

There are many reasons why someone might benefit from therapy. It can help you to understand yourself better, and by doing so it may help you to make sense of your life during difficult times. It can provide insights into why you make the choices you do and it can help you understand what new possibilities might be open to you. I have worked with clients on a wide range of different issues, problems and concerns, including:

      • Depression
      • Anxiety and stress
      • Issues around self-esteem and self-worth
      • Loss of meaning and lack of purpose in life
      • Work issues

      • Relationship difficulties (both family and
        personal relationships)
      • Bereavement and loss
      • Issues around identity and sexual identity
      • Obsessive feelings and behaviour

This list is not exhaustive, and whether you want to explore painful past events in your life, or the uncertainty you are feeling about what the future might hold, therapy can provide a confidential place to talk about your concerns. On the following pages you will find further information about my background and experience, and what you might expect from counselling and psychotherapy. It is important for you to choose the right therapist and if you feel I can help, please get in touch.
